In the Infant and younger toddler rooms students will experience more group singing and other activities that are designed to encourage the development of social skills. The Building Blocks staff creates activities that encourage students to interact with their peers and begin to develop relationships with other children.

The older toddler room starts their day with our usual morning greeting and check-in, and then students are encouraged to seek out the activity centers and stations that we have situated around the room. Each encourages group play and development. Most stations and activities are centered on reaching the development by using all learning modalities. Our pre-school level lessons really get their start in the 2-year-old room, as students are exposed to lessons using the calendar and days of the week. Students also have the opportunity to develop large motor skills with indoor/outdoor play.
